Description
An assortment of six vintage soft-sided gun cases or slips designed for the transport and storage of rifles or shotguns. The collection includes examples with a two-tone brown and tan paneled construction featuring integrated carrying handles and full-length zippers. One case is stamped with the designation SIZE 44 on the exterior. Also included is a black leather or faux leather case featuring a rigid black molded handle attached with leather tabs. All cases feature reinforced muzzle caps and leather hanging loops. No specific manufacturer marks were identified during inspection, although the styles are characteristic of mid-to-late 20th-century American sporting goods often produced by makers such as Kolpin or Redhead.
