Description
An assortment of firearm components comprising a semi-automatic closed bolt conversion kit for the Sten MK2, manufactured by Indianapolis Ordnance. Includes the Barrel Extension. This closed bolt system is designed to facilitate a legal semi-automatic firearm build when used in conjunction with a reduced-diameter receiver tube and original Mk2 parts. The collection includes a machined steel semi-auto bolt featuring longitudinal fluting and a side port, a rectangular steel bolt stop, a dual-rod recoil spring guide assembly mounted to a circular steel rod retainer, and three long coil springs, one of which bears a white paper label with the text Recoil. Smaller components include a cocking handle, a standard AR-15 pattern firing pin, a roll pin, and a firing pin spring. Also included in the lot are a polished steel receiver tube with heat-darkened bluing at one end, a cylindrical wooden forend sleeve, a dark-stained wooden pistol grip, and a trigger linkage bar. A small plastic bag contains miscellaneous small pins and a secondary spring.
Condition report:
The items show evidence of use and age, including surface discoloration, scratches, and traces of lubricant on the metal components. The wooden components show wear, darkening of the finish, and minor abrasions consistent with handling and installation.
