Description
This lot consists of eighty (80) rounds of Hornady 338 ARC centerfire ammunition, presented in four original factory boxes of 20 cartridges each. The collection is comprised of two boxes of Hornady Subsonic ammunition, item number 82272, featuring 307 grain SUB-X projectiles with signature red polymer tips, and two boxes of Hornady Black ammunition, item number 82271, featuring 175 grain hollow point (HP) projectiles. All rounds are loaded into brass cases with silver-colored primers. The cartridges bear the headstamp markings HORNADY 338 ARC. The Subsonic loads are specifically engineered for terminal performance at lower velocities, while the Black series is tailored for versatile performance across various platforms. The original cardstock packaging provides full ballistic profiles, including muzzle velocity and trajectory data. The cartridges remain in their internal plastic organizers.
Condition report:
The ammunition and its original packaging are in excellent, factory-new condition. The brass cases are clean and bright, exhibiting no signs of corrosion, oxidation, or tarnish. The SUB-X polymer tips and hollow point projectiles appear undisturbed and free of defects. The cardstock boxes show only minor shelf wear and light corner compression typical of storage, while the graphics remain sharp and legible. All eighty cartridges appear to be live, factory-loaded rounds.
