Description
This lot consists of four reloading dies chambered for the 8x57mm Mauser cartridge. The collection includes two distinct two-die sets from different manufacturers. The first pair is an RCBS steel die set consisting of a full-length sizer die and a seater die. Verbatim markings on the seater die include RCBS 8X57 SEAT 86 stamped on the top face. The second pair is a chrome-plated set manufactured by Herter’s, featuring knurled locking rings stamped INC. WASECA. One of these chrome dies is stamped 8X57 SIZER on the body. Both sets utilize standard 7/8-14 threads, making them compatible with most modern reloading presses. Each die features a knurled upper section for manual adjustment and locking rings to maintain consistent settings.

Condition report:
The dies are in functional condition showing moderate signs of previous use. The RCBS steel dies exhibit light surface oxidation and minor rust on the knurled adjustment heads and within some thread grooves. The chrome-finished Herter\'s dies show minor surface wear and light pitting on the knurled locking rings. Threading on all four units appears to be intact without significant damage or cross-threading. The decapping pins on the sizing dies are present.
