Description
This lot consists of a collection of 10 assorted leather firearm holsters and accessories featuring a variety of styles including shoulder rigs, belt-loop holsters, flap holsters, and a belt slide. Identified pieces include a Hunter Model 4500-5 marked HUNTER, 4500-5, 0302, and PAT. NO. 4858800; a Safariland Model 200 with a basketweave finish marked with a deer head logo, SAFARILAND, ONTARIO, CA, 4,340,437, and P-228 P-229; and a Bianchi #5BHL Kit Gun holster bearing the Bianchi star logo and BIANCHI #5BHL KIT GUN. Other marked items include a holster stamped ASTRA, 18679, and #117R; a Bucheimer Model 918 marked BUCHEIMER and 918; and a flap holster marked MADE BY A.H. HARDY with 8 8 and 5. Also included is a handmade holster marked S.D. HOLSTERS LEATHER GOODS handmade and a small tan belt slide with 1911 handwritten on the interior. The items are constructed from varying shades of brown and tan leather with a mix of brass and silver-toned snap closures and retention straps.
Condition report:
The collection is in overall fair to good condition, showing expected signs of age and field use throughout. The leather exhibits varying degrees of surface scuffing, creasing, and wear to the finishes. Several metal snaps and hardware components show oxidation or verdigris. The Safariland holster shows significant surface wear and a whitish discoloration or residue across its basketweave finish. Stitched seams appear largely intact, though some areas show slight fraying or thinning.
