Description
This Howa Model 1500 Mini Action bolt-action rifle is chambered in 6.5 Grendel and is designed for precision shooting or hunting applications requiring a short-action platform. The rifle features a 22-inch barrel with a matte black finish, terminating in a threaded muzzle fitted with a protective cap. The metal components, including the receiver and bolt, share a matching matte black finish, and the receiver is factory drilled and tapped to accept optic mounts. It is mounted in a grey synthetic stock that includes textured grip panels on the pistol grip and forend for improved handling, ending in a black rubber recoil pad embossed with the Howa logo. The rifle is fed by a detachable polymer box magazine. Significant markings on the left side of the receiver include the model designation Howa Model 1500, the manufacturing information MADE IN JAPAN, IMPORTED BY LEGACY SPORTS, RENO, NV, and the serial number B 768619. The barrel is clearly marked 6.5 GRENDEL alongside the safety instruction READ MANUAL BEFORE USE. The included magazine is marked for multiple compatible cartridges including 7.62×39, 6.5 GRENDEL, and 6MM ARC. The forend retains a factory sticker advertising a SUB-MOA GUARANTEE. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The rifle is in very good overall condition, retaining nearly all of its original matte black finish. There are only minor handling marks visible on the barrel and the thread protector. The bore is bright with sharp, well-defined rifling. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm with live ammunition. The grey synthetic stock is in excellent condition with no significant scuffs or scratches, and the textured panels remain crisp. The magazine and rubber recoil pad show minimal signs of use.
