Description
A collection of 1,000 spent brass cartridge casings in .223 Remington and 5.56x45mm NATO caliber. These bottlenecked cases exhibit visible annealing heat treatment marks around the shoulders and necks, characterized by a darkened, iridescent coloration. Visual inspection of the headstamps reveals manufacture by Israel Military Industries, with markings including IMI and TZ, the latter accompanied by the date code 92 indicating 1992 production. Additional casings bear the REM headstamp for Remington and the 223 caliber designation. All casings are once-fired and retain spent primers featuring distinct firing pin indentations.
Condition report:
The casings are in good used condition, consistent with once-fired brass. Visible characteristics include surface tarnish, minor oxidation, and typical mechanical wear from the firing and extraction process, such as light scuffing on the case bodies. Spent primers remain seated.
