Description
This CVA Scout is a break-action single-shot handgun chambered in 6.5 Grendel, intended for long-range target shooting and hunting. The firearm features a 14-inch fluted stainless steel barrel with a threaded muzzle and a knurled thread protector. The receiver is also finished in stainless steel and features a break-action design operated by the trigger guard. The furniture includes a black checkered polymer forend and a matching pistol grip with finger grooves for a secure hold. This pistol is equipped with a Nikon Force XR scope with a Bullet Drop Compensation reticle, mounted to a Picatinny-style rail. A knurled hammer extension has been added for easier cocking with the mounted optic. Verbatim markings on the left side of the barrel include the CVA SCOUT logo and 6,5 Grendel followed by Read Instructions Before Use. The underside of the receiver is marked BPF Lawrenceville, GA, the serial number 61-04-001765-21, and Made in Spain by Dikar. Standard Spanish proof marks including a knight’s head over an X and CIP N are present on the receiver. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The firearm is in excellent physical condition, retaining nearly all of its original stainless finish with no significant scratches or signs of corrosion. The black polymer grip and forend are in excellent state, showing sharp checkering and minimal handling wear. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. The action appears to function correctly, with a tight lockup and smooth break-open operation. The Nikon scope features clear glass and a crisp reticle.
