Description
This lot consists of three side-folding stock assemblies manufactured by Choate Machine and Tool, each featuring an integrated pistol grip. The collection includes one wire-frame style stock and two reinforced metal-frame stocks that include integrated black polymer cheek rests. Each unit is equipped with a black textured polymer pistol grip featuring an integrated metal sling swivel at the base. Key markings include the circular Smith and Wesson logo molded into the sides of each polymer pistol grip. The steel mounting blocks and stock frames are finished in a dark coating designed for durability in the field. The buttstocks are fitted with black rubber recoil pads featuring a diamond-tread pattern for improved traction. The steel mounting blocks and stock frames exhibit significant surface oxidation, light rust, and finish wear consistent with used military or police surplus items. The folding mechanisms appear to function correctly, though they have not been mounted to a firearm for fitting. The textured polymer pistol grips are in good condition with the molded checkering remaining crisp. The rubber recoil pads show some age; notably, the pad on the top wire-frame stock assembly exhibits a visible crack and separation at the bottom. The other two pads remain intact with typical minor handling wear.
