Description
This is a Daisy No. 102 Model 36 lever action air rifle chambered for .177 caliber BBs. The rifle is constructed with a sheet metal receiver and barrel assembly finished in a dark blue paint, paired with a swirled brown molded plastic buttstock. Decorative stamped scrollwork and star motifs are present on the lower frame near the trigger guard. The rifle is fitted with a fixed post front sight and a sheet metal rear sight integrated into the top of the barrel assembly. Prominent markings stamped on the top of the receiver include DAISY, NO. 102 MODEL 36, DAISY MFG., ROGERS, ARK., and PAT. 2,758,586 OTHER, along with the register number G843044. Note – As an antique or black powder firearm, this item does not require a background check.
Condition report:
The air rifle is in good overall condition. The blue painted finish exhibits scattered light scratches, small chips, and minor paint loss, particularly along the barrel tube and at the high points of the receiver. The plastic buttstock remains solid with typical light handling scuffs but no cracks or chips. The lever action appears to function correctly and provides resistance when cocked, although we have not function tested this item for projectile velocity or seal integrity.
