Description
This is a Taurus TX22 semi-automatic rimfire pistol chambered in .22 LR, intended for target shooting and training applications. It features a 4 inch barrel equipped with a threaded barrel adapter and fixed white-dot sights. The firearm is constructed with a matte black finished slide and a black textured polymer frame that includes an integrated Picatinny-style accessory rail. Key markings include the model designation TX near the muzzle on the left side of the slide, while the right side of the frame is marked TAURUS and BAINBRIDGE, GA. The barrel area visible through the ejection port is marked .22 LR. The serial number 1PT459597 is clearly transcribed from the metal plate on the underside of the frame. This lot includes the original factory box, one 16-round magazine, a magazine loader, the instruction manual, and an ATF Youth Handgun Safety Act notice. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The firearm is in very good condition overall. The matte black finish on the slide exhibits minor surface scuffs and handling marks on the top and sides. The textured polymer frame is in excellent condition with no visible chips or significant wear. The white-dot sights are clear and undamaged. The action appears to function correctly, although the firearm has not been function-tested with live ammunition. The magazine shows light use and appears fully functional.
