Description
This is a Savage Model 111 bolt action rifle chambered in .300 Winchester Magnum, designed as a durable and reliable long range hunting platform. The rifle features a blued finish on the barrel and receiver, complemented by an engine turned jeweled bolt body bearing the Savage name. It is fitted with a black synthetic stock with checkered grip panels and includes a Hogue rubber recoil pad and front and rear sling swivel studs. The firearm is equipped with a detachable box magazine and comes mounted with a Simmons Blazer 3-9x40mm scope featuring a duplex reticle, held by two piece bases and rings. Key markings include the barrel roll marks SAVAGE MODEL 111 CAL. 300 WIN. MAG. and SAVAGE ARMS INC., WESTFIELD, MASS. U.S.A. The left side of the receiver is stamped with the serial number G755970. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The blued metal finish shows moderate wear with some thinning and scattered surface scuffs visible along the length of the barrel. The engine turned finish on the bolt remains bright. The synthetic stock displays several visible scratches, scuffs, and handling marks throughout the forend and buttstock areas. The Hogue recoil pad shows white scuffs and surface residue on the rear face. The action appears to function correctly, though the firearm has not been function tested or test fired. The scope optics appear clear and the reticle is intact.
