Description
A set of four MEC 302 series charge bars constructed from rectangular aluminum bar stock with a red anodized finish. Designed for use in single stage shotshell reloading presses, these bars feature two large circular bores through the top face for measuring powder and lead shot. The side of each block contains a smaller circular bore and a central threaded hole for attachment to the press mechanism. The ends of the bars are stamped with numerical identifiers, with the series number 302 positioned above individual size codes 114, 118, 78, and 100. These components are intended for loading various lead shot weights, including 7/8 oz, 1 oz, 1 1/8 oz, and 1 1/4 oz. The exterior surfaces show various handwritten notations in yellow and black paint and ink, including numbers such as 701 and 100.
Condition report:
The items are in good used condition with visible signs of wear consistent with regular industrial or hobbyist use. There are numerous surface scratches, small nicks in the metal, and significant wear to the red anodized finish, particularly at the corners and around the bore openings. Several bars have handwritten markings in paint and ink that do not affect function. The threaded holes and primary bores appear clean and structurally sound.
