Description
A collection of two .30-06 Springfield caliber reloading die sets from Lee Precision, Inc. and RCBS. The Lee RGB set is housed in a translucent green plastic case with a label identifying it as part number 90880. One of the internal dies is stamped with the characters 30/06-C4. The RCBS set consists of a neck sizer die in a solid green plastic case embossed with the maker’s mark. The case label for the RCBS set includes part number 14830, indicates it is a Group A set, and specifies the use of shell holder number 03. The metal components of both sets feature knurled, threaded, and polished surfaces typical of reloading equipment.
Condition report:
The die sets and their storage containers show signs of age and previous handling. The plastic cases exhibit minor scuffing and surface scratches. The paper labels have some wear, including light staining and edge curling. The internal metal dies appear well-maintained with no visible heavy rust or structural damage.
