Description
This lot consists of a bulk quantity of 370 rounds of .38 Special caliber handgun ammunition featuring 148-grain lead wadcutter bullets seated flush with the case mouths. The collection features a mixture of brass and nickel-plated casings from multiple commercial manufacturers. Included are two clear plastic bags with paper labels from M & J Ammunition Inc. of Jackson, CA, which specify Reloaded Ammunition Match – Combat Match and are hand-marked 38-148 Gr. The lot also includes one black leather six-round belt-slide ammunition carrier. Verbatim markings on the cartridge headstamps include R – P 38 SPL and W – W 38 SPECIAL. The ammunition is loose within a plastic container and appears to be consistent with target-grade reloaded components.
Condition report:
The ammunition is in good overall condition. The lead wadcutter bullets exhibit some surface oxidation and the brass and nickel-plated casings show minor tarnish consistent with stored reloaded ammunition. The primers appear properly seated and the cases show no signs of major corrosion or structural defects. The leather belt-slide pouch is in good condition with supple leather and intact stitching.
