Description
This O.F. Mossberg & Sons Model 346KA is a bolt-action rifle chambered for .22 Short, Long, or Long Rifle ammunition. The rifle is configured with a 24-inch blued steel barrel and a full-length under-barrel tubular magazine. The firearm features a one-piece smooth wood stock with a pistol grip, front and rear sling swivels, and a black synthetic trigger guard. It is equipped with a hooded front post sight and an adjustable rear leaf sight, while the stock is capped with a black textured synthetic buttplate embossed with the Mossberg name. Key markings on the barrel are transcribed as O.F. MOSSBERG & SONS INC. NORTH HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A., AC-KRO-GRUV, and the model designation MODEL 346KA 22 S L-LR. No serial number is visible on the exterior of the firearm. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The exterior metal surfaces exhibit significant signs of age and wear, including widespread surface rust and areas of pitting, most notably along the barrel and the magazine tube. The blued finish shows thinning and honest wear throughout. The wooden stock displays numerous scratches, dings, and handling marks consistent with use in the field. The bore was not inspected, but the external condition suggests the possibility of fouling or light oxidation. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested or test-fired this firearm.
