Description
This is a Ruger American bolt-action rifle chambered in .300 Blackout, configured as a compact utility carbine. The rifle features a blued barrel measuring approximately 16 inches in length with a threaded muzzle for the addition of a suppressor or muzzle device. The blued receiver is mounted in a Flat Dark Earth synthetic stock featuring textured grip panels on the forend and pistol grip. Key markings include the Ruger logo, model designation RUGER AMERICAN, and the serial number 694-31996 on the left side of the receiver. Barrel markings specify the caliber as 300 BLK with a 1-7 twist rate. The rifle is equipped with a Nikon P-300 BLK scope featuring a BDC-style reticle, mounted to a receiver-length Picatinny rail. A soft rubber recoil pad is fitted to the buttstock, which also bears an aftermarket hog-shaped decal featuring the Texas state flag on the left side. The rifle is fed by a single detachable box magazine. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The exterior blued finish shows visible surface oxidation and minor pitting, primarily along the length of the barrel. The polished bolt body exhibits brownish discoloration and staining from use. The synthetic stock remains in good condition with minor scuffs and light handling marks throughout. The bore is bright with crisp rifling and light internal fouling. The bolt action appears to function smoothly, and the trigger pull is consistent, though the rifle has not been test-fired. The Nikon optic shows clear glass with minor finish wear to the exterior of the scope body.
