Description
This lot consists of a collection of eleven rimfire and air rifle scopes, primarily compact 4x15mm models designed for rimfire grooved receivers or air rifles. The group features various black-finished and blued bodies with integrated clamp-style mount rings, including one older steel-bodied model characterized by a grayish-brown patina and an integrated side-mounting bracket. A wide range of classic optical manufacturers is represented throughout the assembly. Verbatim markings observed on the eyepieces and tubes include Glenfield 4 X 15 Opti-Centered Coated Japan with a diamond maker mark, Glenfield 4 X 15 Opti-Centered Coated Japan with a circled S mark, Daisy First in Airguns 4 x 15, Tasco RF4X15, Tasco Coated #601E 4X15, Weaver D4 USA, and Bushnell Sportview 4x, 15mm. Several scopes retain their original plastic or rubber protective lens caps, while one of the Glenfield scopes exhibits light adhesive tape residue on the main tube.
Condition report:
The scopes are in overall fair to good condition, showing typical signs of handling, light scratches, and minor surface oxidation consistent with age and field use. One scope exhibits tape residue on the tube body. The lenses vary from clear to slightly dusty, and while the adjustment turrets appear intact, the optical performance and internal mechanical adjustments have not been fully tested. The mounting hardware on most scopes remains intact and functional.
