Description
This lot consists of a collection of 14 assorted black rubber and polymer revolver pistol grips manufactured by various companies. The majority of the lot is comprised of Pachmayr grips, including examples from both the Presentation and Compac series. Technical features vary between models, with several grips incorporating ergonomic finger grooves and molded checkering or pebbled textures to enhance handling. Verbatim base markings transcribed from the collection include PRESENTATION PACHMAYR LOS ANGELES CALIF. MADE IN U.S.A. and PACHMAYR COMPAC. A number of the Pachmayr units feature the gold-colored lion medallion. One grip is fitted with a Smith and Wesson medallion, and two smaller grips bear the circular CHARTER ARMS logo. This lot is sold as a group of parts, and several individual grips are missing their mounting screws.
Condition report:
The grips are in used condition and show varying levels of surface wear, dust, and white oxidation blooming typical of older rubber components. The molded textures and checkering remain generally sharp with some light smoothing from use. The mounting holes and internal frame channels appear structurally sound, although the collection is missing several mounting screws.
