Description
This lot consists of 143 rounds of .45 Auto caliber ammunition presented in three separate containers. The collection features a factory Blazer centerfire cartridge box containing aluminum-cased rounds with headstamps marked CCI/R 45 AUTO. An orange translucent Midway plastic case contains a variety of brass-cased cartridges with mixed headstamps including G.F.L. 45 ACP, W-W 45 AUTO, R-P 45 AUTO, REM-UMC 45 AUTO, WESTERN 45 AUTO, and FEDERAL 45 AUTO. A third plastic tray wrapped in clear film holds additional brass-cased rounds with headstamps such as W-W 45 AUTO, R-P 45 AUTO, WCC 78, and FEDERAL 45 AUTO. The projectiles are primarily copper-jacketed round-nose bullets consistent with standard target or training loads. The assortment contains a mix of factory-loaded and potentially reloaded components given the diverse headstamp markings and non-original packaging.
Condition report:
The ammunition appears to be in live condition. The aluminum-cased Blazer rounds remain relatively clean with bright surfaces. The brass-cased ammunition shows varying degrees of surface tarnish, dulling, and minor oxidation consistent with age and storage. The cardboard Blazer box exhibits moderate edge wear, scuffing, and softened corners. Both the Midway plastic case and the film-wrapped tray are functional though they show light surface wear.
