Description
This lot consists of 150 rounds of Winchester brand centerfire handgun ammunition chambered in .40 S&W. The ammunition is contained in three original cardboard boxes, each housing an internal tray designed for 50 rounds. Each cartridge is configured with a 165 grain Full Metal Jacket projectile, part of Winchester’s Target product line intended for range practice and training. The rounds feature reloadable brass casings and copper-jacketed bullets. Prominent markings on the boxes include the Winchester logo, TARGET, 40 S&W, 165 GRAIN, FULL METAL JACKET, and MADE IN USA. The individual cartridge headstamps are stamped with WIN 40 S&W.
Condition report:
The exterior cardboard packaging shows moderate shelf wear, including visible crushing to the corners, creasing, and fraying at the edges. The internal trays remain intact. The ammunition is presumed to be live and functional, though the brass casings exhibit varying degrees of surface tarnish and oxidation consistent with age and storage. The copper-jacketed projectiles appear clean with no significant signs of corrosion or deformation.
