Description
This lot consists of a bulk quantity of 392 spent brass rifle shell casings chambered for the .22-250 Remington cartridge. Primarily manufactured by Winchester and Remington, these casings are intended for reloading purposes after necessary cleaning, resizing, and preparation. Key markings observed on the headstamps include W-W 22-250 REM for Winchester-Western, REM for Remington, and WIN for Winchester. All 392 casings are in fired condition, retaining their spent primers which show distinct firing pin indentations. The brass exhibits a typical range-fired appearance with a mix of bright surfaces and areas of natural oxidation and tarnish. The lot is presented in a clear plastic storage bin and contains no live ammunition or other reloading components.
Condition report:
All items are in fired and uncleaned condition. The brass surfaces show varying degrees of surface tarnish and oxidation typical for range-collected material. Spent primers remain seated in the primer pockets and exhibit clear firing pin strikes. The structural integrity of the individual casings has not been mechanically tested.
