Description
This lot consists of 182 rounds of Winchester Super-X .357 Magnum centerfire ammunition contained within four original cardboard boxes. The grouping includes two boxes of 158-grain Jacketed Hollow Point (JHP) rounds and two boxes of 158-grain Jacketed Soft Point (JSP) rounds. The cartridges are constructed with nickel-plated cases and copper-jacketed projectiles, and featuring red primer sealant. Prominent markings on the packaging include Winchester Super-X 50 Centerfire Pistol-Revolver Cartridges, 357 Magnum 158 Gr. Jacketed H.P. X3574P, and 357 Magnum 158 Gr. Jacketed Soft Point X3575P. Verbatim headstamp markings on the cases read WINCHESTER 357 MAG. While the boxes are labeled for 50 rounds each, the total count for this lot has been verified as 182 rounds.
Condition report:
The ammunition is in good condition, with the nickel-plated cases remaining bright and showing only minor instances of tarnish. The copper-jacketed projectiles are clean and free of significant oxidation. Red sealant remains visible and intact around the primers. The vintage cardboard boxes exhibit moderate shelf wear, including edge fraying, corner dings, and surface scuffing. One box retains an orange adhesive label on the front panel. All text and graphics, including the Winchester Rider logo, remain clearly legible. The ammunition appears live and serviceable.
