Description
This lot consists of a collection of eight Beretta Model 92 and M9-style semi-automatic pistol magazines chambered in 9mm Luger. The group includes four magazines standing vertically and four lying flat, representing a mix of factory Beretta, military-contract, and restricted-era examples. Key markings include one standing magazine stamped with BERETTA 9mm and another featuring numbered witness holes from 4 to 18. Among the flat-lying magazines, one is marked with the military contract code ASSY 9346413-MFR 1C606 10/2008 indicating manufacture by Check-Mate Industries, another bears the stamp RESTRICTED-LAW ENFORCEMENT/GOVERNMENT USE ONLY, and a third is stamped ASSY 9346413-85490 indicating manufacture by Beretta USA under CAGE code 85490. The magazines feature a variety of finishes, including matte gray Parkerized sand-resistant coatings, blued finishes, and black oxide coatings, and they are fitted with a mix of steel and polymer floorplates.
Condition report:
The magazines are in good to fair overall condition. The metal bodies show varying degrees of use, including light to moderate surface scratches, thinning finish, and areas of light surface rust and spot corrosion, particularly on the bodies and floorplates of the older blued and Parkerized examples. The polymer and steel floorplates show minor nicks and wear consistent with regular use. The springs and followers appear functional, though they have not been live-fire tested.
