Description
This is a side-by-side break-action shotgun chambered for 12 gauge, featuring 29-inch barrels in a traditional double-barrel configuration. Key markings include the trade name OXFORD ARMS CO stamped on the side of the receiver and PROOF TESTED 12.GA on the top of the barrel assembly. The serial number T 36372 is transcribed from both the water table and the underside of the barrel flats. The firearm is equipped with a dual-trigger system and a hardwood stock and forend, the former featuring a pistol grip and a black synthetic buttplate. Notably, there is a visible bulge in the barrel. A single brass bead is mounted at the muzzle for aiming. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The metal surfaces exhibit a significant dark brown patina overall, with areas of surface oxidation and light pitting throughout the receiver and barrels. A notable bulge is present in the barrel assembly, which represents a significant condition and safety concern. The wood stock and forend show numerous scratches, dings, and surface wear consistent with age and extensive field use. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The black synthetic buttplate shows typical scuffing and minor wear.
