Description
A collection of nine vintage pistol grips and panels constructed from wood and synthetic materials. The assortment features several sets of checkered wood target-style grips with finger grooves and traditional checkered wood panels. Many of the wooden grips are fitted with inset brass or silver-toned medallions bearing the Smith & Wesson monogram of intertwined letters S and W. One set of black textured synthetic wrap-around grips is included, which is marked on the underside PACHMAYR GRIP, MADE IN U.S.A., LOS ANGELES, CALIF. and features a medallion with a stylized P and lion logo. The items exhibit various mounting hardware configurations, including slotted screws.
Condition report:
The collection is in overall fair to good condition, showing signs of wear consistent with age and use. Observable defects include surface scratches, finish loss, and small chips to the wood edges. Some mounting screws are missing or have been replaced. Several of the metal medallions show signs of verdigris or surface oxidation.
