Description
A Winchester Model 70 bolt-action rifle chambered for .223 WSSM. This firearm features a black synthetic stock with textured gripping surfaces on the forend and pistol grip. The metal receiver and barrel have a matte black finish. The barrel is marked -WINCHESTER® MODEL 70 223 WSSM- and MADE IN NEW HAVEN, CT. U.S.A. The receiver is stamped with the serial number G2595300 and WINCHESTER® TRADEMARKS LICENSED FROM OLIN CORP. It is fitted with a Vortex Crossfire II 4-12×44 riflescope, serial number #C21916897, mounted on Weaver 1-inch USA rings. The muzzle is threaded and equipped with a knurled silver-tone protector.
Condition report:
The rifle shows signs of regular use including surface scuffs, light scratches, and dust on the synthetic stock. Minor oxidation is visible on the scope rings and the exterior of the barrel. The bolt action cycles smoothly. The scope optics appear clear with an intact reticle.
