Description
This is a single Doskocil Gun Guard hard-shell long gun case manufactured for Browning, measuring 51 inches in length and designed for the transport and storage of a rifle or shotgun. The exterior features a tan vinyl covering with a prominent embossed alligator or crocodile skin texture, further detailed with a large, embossed diamond motif on both the front and back panels. The case is equipped with a brown molded plastic carry handle and four metal latches, including two outer locking latches. The interior is fully lined with green egg-crate foam padding to provide impact protection for the firearm. Markings include the embossed Browning name centered on the lid above the handle and the Gun Guard brand designation. A small metal component, which appears to be a spare part or key, is resting inside the foam padding. This case provides a durable and protective housing for a variety of long guns.

The case is in good overall condition with signs of moderate use and age. The tan vinyl exterior displays various surface scuffs, light scratches, and minor staining consistent with field use. The metal hardware, including the latches and hinges, shows light tarnish and surface oxidation. The interior green egg-crate foam remains intact and pliable, exhibiting only minor indentations and light discoloration from previous contents. The plastic handle is secure, and the latches appear to function as intended.
