Description
This lot comprises 100 rounds of Golden Tiger brand 7.62x39mm ammunition, organized into five individual 20-round factory boxes. Produced at the Vympel plant in Russia, these cartridges feature 124-grain Full Metal Jacket Boat Tail projectiles with lead cores. The ammunition is constructed with lacquered steel cases in a signature olive drab finish and utilizes non-corrosive primers. A distinctive purple sealant is applied at the case mouths and around the primer pockets to enhance moisture resistance and long-term storage stability. Markings on the packaging include Golden Tiger, 7.62×39 FMJBT, 124 GR, LEAD CORE, STEEL CASE, NON-CORROSIVE, and 20 CARTRIDGES.
Condition report:
The ammunition appears in excellent, factory-new condition with the lacquered finish on the cases remaining smooth and intact. There are no visible signs of corrosion or oxidation on the steel cases or the copper-jacketed projectiles, and the sealant remains bright and well-applied. The factory cardboard boxes are in good overall condition, showing minor shelf wear and light softening at the corners consistent with storage. The cartridges appear to be live and serviceable.
