Description
This Diamondback Firearms DB9 is a sub-compact semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9x19mm, specifically designed for deep concealment. The firearm features a 3-inch barrel housed within a steel slide and is built on a lightweight black polymer frame. The frame features a textured grip with a diamond-grid pattern and integrated finger grooves. The pistol utilizes a striker-fired action and comes equipped with fixed low-profile sights and a single-stack magazine featuring a high-visibility orange follower. Prominent markings include the DB logo and model designation DB9 on the left side of the slide, while the barrel chamber is marked 9 X 19. The right side of the frame is marked Diamondback Firearms Cocoa, Fl, and a metal serial number plate located on the grip is stamped YK3168. The magazine is marked ACT-MAG ITALY, 9 mm, and features the manufacturer logo. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The firearm is in poor to fair condition, showing significant evidence of neglect and environmental oxidation. The slide exhibits widespread surface rust, particularly within the cocking serrations, along with localized pitting on the extractor and barrel hood. The polymer frame shows general wear, scuffing, and heavy accumulated residue within the texturing. The magazine catch and slide pins show visible corrosion. The accompanying magazine displays heavy localized rust and pitting on the left side of the body and around the base plate. The bore was not inspected and the mechanical action has not been function-tested.
