Description
This is a Winchester Model 1300 Defender pump action shotgun chambered for 12 gauge 2 3/4 inch and 3 inch shells. The firearm features an 18.5 inch barrel constructed of Winchester proof steel and is finished in a non reflective matte black. It is equipped with a full length tubular magazine, a front brass bead sight, and durable black polymer furniture including a ribbed forearm and a stock with a textured grip area. A black rubber recoil pad with the Winchester logo is fitted to the buttstock, which also features a sling swivel stud matched by a corresponding stud on the magazine cap. Key markings include the model designation WINCHESTER R MODEL 1300 DEFENDER 12 GA. 2 3/4 and 3 and the manufacturer information MADE IN NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A. WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL on the barrel. The right side of the receiver is marked with the serial number L2624309, and a circular Winchester WP proof mark is present on the top of the barrel. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The shotgun is in used condition with visible wear throughout. The matte black finish on the receiver and barrel shows significant scuffing, scratches, and handling marks. Notably, the right side of the barrel near the muzzle exhibits several prominent areas of surface rust and pitting. Similar oxidation is visible on the magazine cap. The polymer stock and forearm show surface abrasions and scuffs but remain structurally sound. The action appears to function correctly when cycled; however, we have not function tested this firearm.
