Description
This collection consists of 400 once fired brass shell casings, primarily composed of .223 Rem and 5.56x45mm NATO calibers. The bottlenecked casings feature various manufacturer markings on the headstamps, including transcriptions such as Winchester 223 Rem, F C 223 Rem, and Lake City Arsenal markings L C 0 9 and L C 1 1, the latter of which includes the NATO cross-in-circle symbol. Most casings retain a struck primer, while a portion of the group shows missing primers. The brass surfaces exhibit varying degrees of natural oxidation and discoloration. This assortment of 400 pieces is presented in uncleaned condition, suitable for brass salvage or reloading.
Condition report:
The casings are in used, once fired condition. Visible surface oxidation, tarnishing, and discoloration are present throughout the collection. Primers are either struck or absent. The brass is uncleaned and shows wear consistent with previous firing and storage.
