Description
This is a Mossberg International Silver Reserve over/under break-action shotgun chambered for 12 gauge 2 3/4-inch and 3-inch shells. The firearm is equipped with 28-inch dual barrels featuring a ventilated top rib and a red fiber-optic front sight. The metal surfaces exhibit a matte black finish on both the receiver and the barrels. The stock and forend are constructed from durable black synthetic polymer with molded-in checkering for an improved grip, finished with a black rubber recoil pad. Key markings include the manufacturer name Mossberg on both sides of the receiver and the serial number SRA0002996 located on the upper tang behind the break-action lever. The left side of the upper barrel is marked verbatim WARNING-Before use, read owner’s manual for safe operation and 12 GA 2 3/4 ” and 3 ” SILVER RESERVE, while the right side is marked Made in Turkey by Khan/Kayhan / Imported by Mossberg Int’l, Inc. North Haven, CT. The shotgun features a single selective trigger and a tang-mounted safety that doubles as a barrel selector. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The shotgun is in good used condition. The matte black finish on the barrels and receiver shows minor surface scuffs and handling marks consistent with field use. The synthetic stock and forend are structurally sound with light cosmetic scratches. The black rubber recoil pad shows visible wear and scuffing at the heel. The bores are bright and appear well-maintained. The break-action and single selective trigger mechanism appear to function correctly, though the firearm has not been function-tested with live ammunition.
