Description
This custom-crafted wooden rifle stock is fashioned from walnut and designed for use with a bolt-action firearm. The stock features a Monte Carlo-style cheekpiece on the left side of the buttstock, an integrated pistol grip, and a wide forend characterized by recessed finger grooves and a contrasting black tip. A black composition recoil pad is secured to the butt end. The interior is partially inletted to accommodate a receiver, magazine well, and trigger group, with two metal bedding pillars already installed in the action screw holes. The exterior displays a smooth, matte finish highlighting the natural wood grain, while the internal surfaces show manual tool marks indicative of a semi-finished state. No manufacturer markings, stamps, or inscriptions are visible on the object.
Condition report:
The stock is in good overall condition. The exterior finish is uniform with minor signs of handling. The internal inletting remains in a semi-finished state, showing tool marks consistent with the fitting process.
