Description
This lot consists of a group of 105 rounds of remanufactured handgun ammunition, featuring a mixture of .38 S&W and .32 S&W Long calibers. The collection is organized into a loose pile of 62 rounds and three orange plastic prescription-style bottles containing 13, 14, and 16 rounds respectively. The cartridges are loaded with cast lead flat-point projectiles. Visible headstamps on the brass casings include W-W .38 S&W, W-W 32 S&W LONG, and REM-UMC 32 S&W. A handwritten accompanying note identifies a specific batch as 38 S+W LONG RELOADS featuring 125gr cast lead flat point bullets from Hunter’s Supply, loaded with 4.5 to 4.7 grains of Unique powder for a stated velocity of 972 FPS. The middle bottle is marked with a label that reads 38 S+W and 50 ea. though it currently contains mixed calibers. This remanufactured ammunition appears to be handloaded for use in compatible revolvers.
Condition report:
The ammunition shows physical signs of age and varied storage environments. The brass casings exhibit tarnish and localized surface oxidation. The lead projectiles show lead bloom or grayish oxidation on the surfaces. All rounds appear live with seated primers. As these are handloaded or remanufactured components, they are sold for their component value or for use at the owner\'s discretion; we have not tested the performance or safety of these rounds.
