Description
One Remington Model 770 bolt action rifle chambered in 7mm Remington Magnum designed for long-range sporting applications. This firearm features a matte black finish on the metal components and is mounted in a black synthetic stock with a textured grip and forearm for a secure hold in various conditions. The stock is finished with a black rubber recoil pad prominently embossed with the Remington logo. The rifle is equipped with a factory-style 3-9×40 variable power scope featuring a duplex crosshair reticle and a folding bipod attached to the forward sling swivel stud. Key markings on the left side of the receiver include the serial number M71918252 and the model designation Remington MODEL 770. The barrel is marked with the manufacturer information REMINGTON ARMS COMPANY, INC. MAYFIELD, KY and the caliber 7MM REM MAG, alongside a REP proof mark enclosed within an oval and the number 36. The bolt action appears to cycle smoothly, though this firearm has not been function-tested. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The metal surfaces retain a consistent matte black finish with some areas of minor surface oxidation visible near the barrel and receiver junction. The synthetic stock is in good overall condition showing light handling scuffs and marks consistent with field use. The scope optics are clear, though the adjustment caps exhibit some scuffing and finish loss. The folding bipod is functional with light mechanical wear. The action operates correctly when cycled by hand. The bore was not inspected but the exterior indicates the rifle has been maintained in a serviceable state.
