Description
This laminated wood thumbhole rifle stock is attributed to Boyds and is designed for a Remington 700 (Rem 700) ADL action. The stock features a multi-colored finish with distinct layers of green, gray, and natural wood tones. The construction includes an ergonomic thumbhole pistol grip and a raised cheekpiece for improved eye alignment. The forend is ventilated, featuring three oblong cooling slots on each side for heat dissipation. A textured black synthetic recoil pad is mounted to the butt. The interior is inletted for the action, showing cutouts for the trigger group and magazine well, along with two pre-drilled holes for mounting hardware, one of which contains a metal threaded insert. No maker’s marks or inscriptions are visible on the item.
Condition report:
The stock is in good used condition with a smooth, finished surface. There are no significant cracks, chips, or structural damage visible. The synthetic recoil pad and metal insert are intact and show minimal signs of wear.
