Description
This lot consists of 100 spent ammunition casings organized within two red plastic trays with white foam inserts, accompanied by two vintage Winchester Super-X cardboard boxes. The casings are comprised of both brass and nickel-plated metal. Various headstamps are visible across the collection, including W-W SUPER 38 AUTO +P, R-P 38 SUPER, and SUPER-X 38 AUTO. All casings are centerfire and feature fired primers. The original cardboard packaging is printed with Winchester Super-X branding, the rider logo, and is marked for 50 Centerfire Pistol-Revolver Cartridges. Several handwritten notations are present on the boxes, including 10 ROUNDS 40 CASES, 40 ct, and Spent.
Condition report:
The cardboard boxes show age-appropriate shelf wear, including edge scuffing, surface discoloration, and multiple handwritten ink notations. The metal casings are in spent condition, showing signs of firing and handling such as minor oxidation and surface tarnishing. The plastic trays and foam inserts are intact with impressions from the casings.
