Description
A pair of Browning Model 387 compact fixed-blade field knives designed for skinning and caping, produced in collaboration with the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. Each knife features a stainless steel blade with a matte satin finish, a large circular index-finger cutout for enhanced grip control, and textured jimping along the spine. The full tang construction is fitted with reddish-brown laminated wood scales secured by two recessed hex-head screws. The blade face is marked with the Browning name and registered trademark, while the reverse tang is stamped MODEL 387 over CHINA. A stylized dual-track cutout is featured near the spine. The knives are accompanied by black woven nylon belt sheaths with snap-retention straps. The sheaths feature embroidered patches with the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation logo and metal snaps embossed with the Browning buckmark.

Condition report:
Fair to good condition. One knife shows light wear with a clean blade face and minor edge use. The second knife exhibits moderate wear, including visible spot rusting and oxidation near the finger hole and along the plunge line, with light scratching and sharpening wear along the cutting edge. The nylon sheaths are structurally sound with light lint and surface wear consistent with field use.
