Description
This SIG Sauer P226 is a full-sized semi-automatic pistol chambered in .40 S&W designed for service and self-defense. It features a 4.4 inch barrel and a stainless steel slide finished in a matte black Nitron-style coating, mounted on a railed frame for the attachment of tactical accessories. The firearm is fitted with textured black polymer grips bearing the SIG Sauer and P226 logos and is equipped with three-dot night sights marked MH3 AE. Verbatim markings on the left side of the slide include SIG SAUER P226 STAINLESS, while the left side of the frame is marked SIGARMS INC. EXETER-NH-USA. The right side of the frame displays the serial number UU 624230, and the barrel hood is stamped .40 S&W. The lot includes one 12-round metal magazine manufactured by Mec-Gar and marked MEC-GAR MADE IN ITALY with witness holes for 5, 10, and 12 rounds. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The pistol displays a black finish showing light wear on the high points of the frame, slide, and control levers. Minor surface oxidation is visible within the grooves of the rear slide serrations. The textured polymer grips are in good condition with minor handling marks and no significant cracks. The action appears to function correctly with a smooth trigger pull and positive reset; however, we have not function-tested or test-fired this firearm. The barrel shows typical finish wear at the chamber and muzzle from cycling.
