Description
A lot of 97 rounds of .38 Special ammunition comprised of two vintage boxes containing 158-grain lead bullets. The first box is a Remington Kleanbore Police Service offering featuring green and red graphics with the DuPont logo. Markings on this box include Remington Kleanbore .38 Special Police Service 158 Grain Lead Bullet and the product code R262. The cartridges in this box are headstamped REM-UMC 38 SPL. The second box is a Winchester Staynless product in a red, yellow, and white box marked for Colt and Smith & Wesson Revolvers. This box specifies 50 Center Fire Cartridges, Staynless, Non-Mercuric, and Oil Proof with 158-grain lead bullets. The Winchester cartridges are headstamped WRA 38 SPECIAL and feature a distinctive purple sealant applied to the primers. Condition report:

The lead projectiles are in good condition without visible white lead oxide buildup. The purple primer sealant on the Winchester rounds remains intact. The ammunition appears to be live and well-preserved.
