Description
This lot features two United States military surplus M2A1 steel ammunition storage containers, specifically designed for .50 caliber ammunition. One container retains its original yellow stenciled markings indicating it once held 100 linked cartridges with a 4-to-1 ratio of M33 Ball and M17 Tracer rounds. The stencil includes the manufacturer code LC for the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant and a lot number beginning with 93, signifying a 1993 production date. The second container is embossed with the model designation M2A1 and includes a modern retail barcode sticker. Both cans are finished in olive drab paint and feature heavy-duty steel construction with hinged lids, side-latching mechanisms, and top folding handles. Each lid contains an internal rubber gasket intended to provide a moisture-resistant seal.

Condition report:
Both items are in good military surplus condition. The stenciled can shows typical signs of field use, including surface scratches, minor paint loss, and light oxidation along the edges of the lid.
