Description
This is a Remington Model 700 bolt action rifle, a classic design utilized for hunting and target shooting, featuring a tapered blued barrel and receiver. The bolt body is finished with a decorative jeweled pattern and features a checkered bolt knob for improved cycling. Key markings on the left side of the receiver include the manufacturer and model designation Remington MODEL 700 and the serial number A6235485. The rifle is fitted with a black synthetic Monte Carlo style stock that includes a raised cheek piece on the left side, textured checkering on the wrist and forend, and a factory Remington branded rubber recoil pad. The receiver is equipped with a one-piece scope mount base and a pair of scope rings, though no optical sights are present. A front sling swivel stud is mounted on the underside of the forend. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The rifle is in good overall condition. The blued finish on the barrel and receiver is well-preserved, showing only minor surface scuffing and small nicks consistent with field use. The jeweled bolt body remains bright. The synthetic stock exhibits several light superficial scratches and scuffs, primarily on the buttstock, while the checkering remains sharp and defined. The bore is bright with strong, visible rifling. The bolt action cycles smoothly and the trigger pull is crisp, though the firearm has not been function-tested with live ammunition.
