Description
This lot comprises one bulk collection of spent brass ammunition shell casings, primarily intended for use as reloading components or scrap metal. The assortment includes specific quantities of 168x 5.7×28, 300 5.2×28, and 500 5.7×28 casings, forming a substantial group of 5005.7×28 casings and various rifle calibers. Visual inspection reveals headstamps for .223 Remington manufactured by Hornady, alongside numerous 5.7×28 specimens with markings attributed to FN. The shells are of brass construction and are once-fired, as indicated by the struck primers and open mouths visible across the collection.
Condition report:
The casings are in used, once-fired condition. The surface of the brass shows typical patina, tarnishing, and some oxidation throughout. Residual carbon from discharge is present in the mouths and primer pockets.
