Description
This is a Marlin Model 60 semi-automatic rifle chambered in .22 Long Rifle, appearing in like new condition. The rifle features a 19-inch blued steel barrel with Marlin signature Micro-Groove rifling and an under-barrel 14-shot tubular magazine. The blued receiver includes an integral rail currently fitted with a Bushnell scope. It is mounted in an attractive reddish-brown laminate wood stock finished with a black polymer buttplate embossed with the Marlin logo. Key markings include the model designation and manufacturer information on the barrel, which reads THE MARLIN FIREARMS CO. MAYFIELD, KY. U.S.A. MODEL 60 MICRO-GROOVE BARREL CAL. 22 LR ONLY. The serial number MM48622I is clearly stamped on the left side of the receiver. The firearm is equipped with its factory adjustable ramp rear sight and a ramped front sight. The lot is complete with its original factory box, owner’s manual, and two clear acrylic display stands. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The rifle is in excellent, like new physical condition. The factory blued finish on the barrel and receiver is deep and consistent, showing no significant wear, thinning, or corrosion. The laminate wood stock is well-preserved with no observed dings, scratches, or cracks. The bore is bright with sharp, well-defined rifling. The action appears to function correctly through manual cycling, though the firearm has not been function-tested with live ammunition. The accompanying factory box and manual show only minimal shelf wear.
