Description
A collection of eight vintage Raised Handgun Rib accessory kits manufactured by The Poly-Choke Co., Inc. of Hartford, Connecticut. The kits consist of machined metal ribs designed to be installed on various handgun models to provide a raised sighting surface. The items are housed in their original retail packaging, which includes both clear plastic cases with yellow foam inserts and black cardboard display boxes with cutout windows. Each package is printed with the Poly-Choke logo and the product name. Visible markings on the packaging include U.S. Patent numbers 3556889 and 195340. The manufacturer is identified as The Poly-Choke Co., Inc., Hartford, CT 06101. Condition report:
These items are offered as new old stock. The internal yellow foam padding in several of the clear cases shows significant age-related deterioration, including crumbling, compression, and discoloration. The external packaging exhibits typical shelf wear, including light soiling, edge wear, and areas of adhesive residue or old tape. The metal rib components appear unused.
