Description
This lot comprises 150 rounds of assorted centerfire pistol ammunition packaged in three original cardboard boxes. The first box is Winchester Train & Defend .38 Special containing 50 rounds of 130 grain full metal jacket cartridges with reduced recoil, featuring headstamps marked WINCHESTER 38 SPL. The second box is Estate Cartridge Range & Target .38 Special which contains a mixed assortment of 50 cartridges featuring headstamps including FEDERAL 38 SPECIAL, W-W 38 SPL, and W C 3 9. The third box is Armscor USA .357 Magnum containing 50 rounds of 158 grain full metal jacket ammunition; visual inspection shows this box contains mixed headstamps including A USA 357 MAG, W C 3 9, FEDERAL 38 SPECIAL, and WINCHESTER 357 MAG. Key box markings include WINCHESTER PRACTICE READY LESS RECOIL T TRAIN 38 SPECIAL FMJ and ESTATE 38 SPECIAL 130 GRAIN FMJ and ARMSCOR USA 357 MAGNUM 158 GR FULL METAL JACKET. The cartridges are seated in plastic or foam trays within their respective boxes. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The ammunition appears to be in good overall condition with some mixed headstamps and manufacturers present in the Estate and Armscor boxes. The brass cases show various degrees of oxidation and minor tarnishing consistent with age and storage, particularly visible on the mixed .38 Special and .357 Magnum rounds. Projectiles appear seated correctly and all rounds appear to be live. The cardboard packaging shows moderate shelf wear, including crushing, corner dings, and some small tears or tape residue on the flaps.
