Description
This lot comprises a collection of six steel rifle ammunition reloading dies chambered for popular sporting calibers. Included are two dies for .300 Winchester Magnum consisting of a full-length sizing die and a seating die featuring bright steel finishes and knurled adjustment surfaces. Two additional dies are manufactured by RCBS for .308 Winchester with markings indicating one is a full-length sizer and the other a seater; these are stamped RCBS 308 WIN FL 89 and RCBS 308 WIN SEAT 89 on their top faces. The final pair is bundled and marked 30-06 WIN for the .30-06 Springfield cartridge. All items utilize standard 7/8-14 threading for compatibility with most reloading presses and include adjustable stems for depth control. Notable markings found on the bodies include WINCHESTER MAGNU, 300 WINCHEST, and 30-06 WIN.
Condition report:
The dies show signs of previous use with light to moderate surface oxidation and minor rust peppering throughout the knurling and threads. The interior sizing surfaces appear clean and smooth. The decapping pins are present and appear straight. The black lock rings on the RCBS dies show minor finish thinning but remain functional. The overall condition is consistent with tools used and stored in a workshop environment.
