Description
This lot consists of two boxes of Winchester Target ammunition chambered in .40 S&W, providing a total of 100 rounds of centerfire handgun ammunition. Each cartridge is loaded with a 165-grain full metal jacket (FMJ) flat-nose projectile featuring a copper jacket and seated in a reloadable brass casing. This ammunition is designed for target practice and range use, utilizing clean-burning powder and non-corrosive Boxer primers. Verbatim markings on the white cardboard boxes include the Winchester horse and rider logo, “WINCHESTER”, “TARGET”, “40 S&W”, “165 GRAIN”, “FULL METAL JACKET”, and “MADE IN USA” with a red star. The cartridge headstamps are clearly marked “WIN 40 S&W”.
Condition report:
The ammunition appears to be in factory-new, live condition with bright brass casings and copper jackets showing no signs of corrosion or oxidation. The white cardboard boxes exhibit moderate shelf wear, including crushed corners, surface scuffing, and minor tearing to the end flaps. The internal foam trays are intact and properly secure the cartridges.
