Description
This lot consists of 220 total rounds of .40 S&W caliber centerfire pistol ammunition from several manufacturers. The collection includes 20 rounds of Remington Golden Saber 165 grain brass-jacketed hollow point (HPJ) cartridges featuring nickel-plated cases headstamped R-P 40 S&W, with the box marked GS40SWA and .40 Smith & Wesson. Also included are 51 rounds of Remington UMC 180 grain metal case (MC) ammunition headstamped R-P 40 S&W and 51 rounds of Independence 180 grain full metal jacket (FMJ) ammunition with brass cases headstamped BLAZER 40 S&W. The remainder of the lot comprises 98 rounds of TulAmmo 180 grain FMJ ammunition featuring steel cases and headstamps marked Tulammo 40S&W, with boxes labeled Made in Russia and Steel Case. The ammunition is housed in five original cardboard boxes that show technical markings including grain weights and bullet types. All cartridges are centerfire and intended for use in .40 S&W caliber handguns.
Condition report:
The exterior cardboard packaging exhibits significant shelf wear, including surface tearing, peeling, and crushing. The ammunition cartridges show varying degrees of surface tarnishing and oxidation on the brass and nickel-plated cases, particularly noted on the Remington Golden Saber and Independence rounds. The steel-cased TulAmmo rounds appear generally well-preserved. All ammunition appears to be live and functional.
